In memory of Agnes Gillard
This is a tribute to Agnes Gillard (née Quinn). Born in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne in 1929, she was buried in Ely in February 2023. In between, she lived in Pudsey, Bury St Edmunds and London. She married a dashing Irishman, raised six children of her own, and loved and cared for her grandchildren in turn. In her long teaching career she inspired countless others. Renowned for her wit and colourful turn of phrase, she is missed by her family and friends, near and far.
